Listada Gandia ( graffiti eggplant )

 

This variety of Italian origin introduced into the south of France in the 1850 under the name " Eggplant variegated of Guadeloupe " .

 

It results from a cross between a purple variety and a white variety.

 

The fruits are oval, the skin is cream colored striped pink - purple , the flesh is firm, tender and excellent quality.

 

Ideal for fried , stuffed your and your gratin .
