Turnip Hammer gives a cylindrical root. Its white flesh is tender and sweet.

 

Consume , preferably young , soup , stew, sautéed.

Racine average, flattened , completely smooth , 10 cm in diameter and 5 cm thick pure white clay and bright purplish red collar .

Flesh tender, sweet , pleasant flavor.

The young and tender roots are eaten raw with other raw vegetables.

 

Cooked , they eat juice , fried , au gratin , in stew .

Very rich in copper, iron, phosphorus, iodine, potassium, magnesium, zinc and sulfur. Flesh firm , sweet , excellent quality and very fragrant.

Floods, young roots are used grated with vinaigrette , cooked in soup , stew , broil .
